Application form

The applications will be open from January 13 to February 27, 2025

For applying to the Gustav Mahler Academy 2025/2026 an online application must be submitted. The online application form will be accessible here starting from January 13, 2025.

In the application form you will have to upload or enter the following documents and information:

• copy of a valid identity document – back/front, in jpg or pdf format. Please upload the correct files. Applications that are accompanied by wrong documentation will be not considered valid.

• a short biography of the musician – in English, max. 1000 characters incl. spaces.

• the complete curriculum vitae of the musician in English – PDF or Word.

• a short video (approx. duration 5 minutes) via a YouTube or Vimeo link (or similar). The link to the video must permit the video to be viewed directly in the browser, with no need to download the video file. Videos that have to be downloaded will not be considered. Recordings made using a smartphone and without piano accompaniment are fine.

• a registration fee of 30 € has to be paid at the time of the application. The payment can be made with credit card when completing the online application form.
