Yangrui Cai

Yangrui Cai was born in 2000 and began studying piano at age 4. Since then, he has won top prizes in major national competitions in China. He has also won prizes at major international competitions, such as the 7th Sendai International Music Competition in Japan and the Sydney International Piano Competition in 2021. In 2023 he won both 4th prize at the Ljubljana Festival International Piano Competition in Slovenia and 1st prize at the Japan Piano Open International Piano Competition. Having graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in the United States, he is now studying at Park International Center for Music with Stanislav Ioudenitch. His past teachers include Vivian Li and Jay Sun.
