Anthony Ratinov began playing piano at the age of four under the teaching of his grandmother, Edit Ratinova, who taught at the Gnessin Music School in Moscow for 45 years. Amongst Anthony’s many honours are the Jury Special Prize at the 2022 Hilton Head Piano Competition, first prize at the 2021 Canada International Piano Competition, and first prize at the International Summer Academy in Austria. Anthony has performed extensively both in the US and Europe, including at such notable venues as the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the ORF RadioKulturhaus in Vienna, and the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Anthony is studying at the Yale School of Music with Prof. Boris Berman. He previously studied chemical engineering at Yale University, graduating with honours.
