Baryshevskyi
Antonii Baryshevskyi is a prominent Ukrainian pianist, First Prize Winner in some of the most prestigious international piano competitions – such as Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition, “Premio Jaen”, winner of F. Busoni International Piano Competition. He is a solo artist of the National Philharmonie of Ukraine and gives master classes in Ukraine and abroad, he is a regular member of the International Summer Academy of Music in Ochsenhausen (Germany).
Born in Kyiv, Ukraine in 1988, Antonii Baryshevskyi started playing piano at the age of seven. He graduated from the National Music Academy of Ukraine and Ecole Normale de musique de Paris, where he studied with Profs. Valerii Kozlov and Marian Rybicki. He brought up also by such teachers as A. Sorkina, R. Donskaya, L. Dorfman. He has been a guest of renowned festivals such as Progetto Martha Argerich, Klavier Ruhr festival, Busoni Festival, projects by Musica Insieme Fondazione, and others.
Antonii performed in such venues, as Wigmore Hall in London, Konzerthaus in Berlin, Berliner Philharmonie, Kolner Philharmonie, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Concert hall of the Mariinsky theatre, Teatro Comunale di Bologna.
He had concerts in almost all the European countries, Israel, Japan, South Korea, and the USA. Played with some of the leading European orchestras, including Munich Radio Orchestra, The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini under the baton of maestros A. Fisch, F. Chaslin, H. Griffiths,
O. Lyniv, K. Karabits, and many others. He has many records on his credit, CD released by Naxos among
others, as well as radio and TV productions of the Italian, Danish, Spanish, and German Radio-Television agencies.
